Radicon, the total gear solution provider for the quarrying and extraction industries, is displaying a comprehensive range of products at Hillhead, reflecting the company's standard, modified standard, custom engineered and drop in gearbox offerings to the mining, extraction and associated industries.

December 5th 2011 - Radicon changes visual identity

Following on from the change of ownership we are pleased to announce that Radicon and Benzlers are changing their visual identity. The change reflects the move away from David Brown to be part of the Elecon Group of companies, the fastest growing and largest gear manufacture in Asia.

What isn’t changing is our commitment to provide you with the best products and service within our industry.

Radicon and Benzlers still own the Intellectual Property Rights for all products currently and previously manufactured, which ensures complete interchangeability of units and spares.

28th November 2011 - Radicon Transmission UK Ltd gears up for Elland move

Monday the 28th of November will mark an historic moment in the history of the Radicon business as we leave our factory in Huddersfield and move 6 miles to a modern, custom designed facility in Elland.

The move to a facility twice the size of our current base has come about due to the continued growth of the Radicon business and the sale of the business from David Brown Gear Systems to Asia’s largest gear manufacturer, the Elecon Engineering Group in November 2010.

17th October 2011 - Radicon opens up NEW manufacturing and sales centre in Chicago USA.

From the 17th October, Radicon will be moving to our new manufacturing and sales location in Chicago and will no longer be operating out of our current location within the Cone Drive facility in Michigan.

Radicon previously known as David Brown Radicon has been operating out of Cone Drive for the last 8 years. This partnership has enabled the Radicon business to supply our North American customer base with the following Products -

Geared Motors – Series M C F & K

Industrial Reducers Series G & Series H

Flexible Couplings – Series X

Benzlers Screw Jacks and Sala shaft mount – Series BD Series J

We will continue to supply the current product offering as well as increasing our product range in the near future, to ensure we meet all our customer's expectations.

April 4th - 8th 2011 - Radicon will be exhibiting at Hannover Fair.

Radicon alongside Benzlers will be exhibiting at the Hannover Fair, with our new parent company ELECON Engineering, Asia’s largest gear manufacturer. The exhibition is an ideal opportunity for us to showcase how the new business relationship will benefit you our valued customers and the exciting plans that are in place for Radicon going forward.

November 28th 2010 - Radicon joins Asian market-leader in industrial transmissions

The Radicon group, a UK-based provider of standard industrial gearing products, is now part of Indian industrial transmissions group Elecon Engineering Company Ltd. The GBP 21.41 million purchase of the group from David Brown Gear Systems was finalised on Friday 26 November.

October 28th 2010 - Radicon Sold in £21.41 million deal
