WEG Motors

Radicon has joined with WEG in a preferred supply partnership for electric motors fitted to Radicon gearboxes.

This now completes the power transmission package offered by Radicon, gearboxes can now be supplied fitted with standard IEC motors, available from stock in Elland, West Yorkshire. The W22 range of motors that Radicon now stock are IE2 high efficiency to comply with current legislation.

A complete range of Motors are also available to be fitted to Radicon gearboxes including Atex certified, IE3 premium efficiency and WIMES specification motors, optional modifications can also be offered.

WEG also specialises in custom built medium and high voltage motors which can be designed as drop in replacements for existing machines. This is an ideal fit for the Radicon business with the current growth of the business into custom engineered and drop in replacement gearboxes.
